Director of Value Based Population Health Pharmacy and Quality Enablement

Kimberly Mehta serves as the Director of Value Based Population Health Pharmacy and Quality Enablement for Highmark Health. She was formerly the Director of Medication Safety and Regulatory for the Allegheny Health Network. Kim received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Pharmacy, Master of Public Health from Pitt, School of Public Health and her Master of Health Administration from Walden University. She completed a combined PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration Residency at Allegheny Health Network.
At a national level, Kim is an active member of American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), serving on several section advisory groups. Kim was the 2021-22 Chair for the Medication Safety Section Advisory Group (SAG). She is currently leading the Medication Safety Dashboard Task Force through the Medication Safety SAG. She is a current member of the ASHP Council on Public Policy. At a state level and local level, she is an active member of Pennsylvania Society of Health-System Pharmacists and has previously served as the President of the Western chapter of Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists (PSHP) and at the state level is currently the president- elect of PSHP.
