Pharmacist Specialist

William Dager is one of a few Pharmacists honored with a Master in Critical Care and is currently a Past Chancelor to the American College of Critical Care Medicine. He served as a pharmacist specialist and the PGY-2 Cardiology program director at UC Davis Medical Center. His practice actively involved imanaging all cardiology services and critically ill patients including complex anticoagulation therapy including reversing the effects on anticoagulants including DOACs and developing guidelines for the health system. Dr. Dager holds 3 academic appointments as a full professor and has earned 4 fellowship recognitions. A recipient of the ACCP best practice award, he also had received several teaching awards. He has actively been engaged in direct patient care and research regarding the measuring and reversing anticoagulants and published several papers and textbook chapters on this topic.
