Justin W. Cole, PharmD, BCPS, currently serves as Chair and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Cedarville University School of Pharmacy. He also serves as the director of the School's Center for Pharmacy Innovation. Dr. Cole received his PharmD degree from Ohio Northern University. Prior to joining the faculty at Cedarville University, Dr. Cole worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, providing oversight of the clinical pharmacy and investigational drug services for the hospital. He was recognized by Cedarville University as Preceptor of Distinction in 2016, Distinguished Pharmacy Faculty Member in 2022, and Faculty Innovator of the Year in 2023. Dr. Cole is an active member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association, Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He has contributed to ASHP's Pediatrics Certificate Program and currently serves as a member of the Section of Pharmacy Educators Advisory Group on Collaboration between Health Systems and Academia. His teaching and research are focused on pediatrics, healthcare ethics, pharmacy practice advancement, and healthcare innovation. He continues to practice as a pediatric clinical pharmacist at Rocking Horse Community Health Center, a federally qualified healthcare center in Springfield, Ohio, and remains involved in medical mission efforts.
