Nima Munir graduated from Montclair State University with a BS in Biology and Minor in Chemistry and then pursued her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Temple University School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Shore Medical Center and then proceeded with a PGY-2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency at New York Methodist Hospital. During her Informatics Residency, she completed the Residency Teaching Certification Program at Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In 2018, she joined AtlantiCare Health System’s Pharmacy Informatics Team as a Pharmacy Informatics Coordinator to support medication processes in the electronic medical record (EMR) for both acute and ambulatory settings. Her responsibilities as a Pharmacy Informaticist include continuous quality improvement initiatives for medication processes, formulary management, automated-dispensing operations, and optimization of infusion pump drug libraries. Recently, she has taken on the role of Pharmacy Residency Preceptor of Informatics at AtlantiCare.
