Professional identity formation is something that applies to anyone. While it is intended for students, all professionals can benefit from the experience and studies of forming your professional identity when looking to grow in their career. It can be tough for pharmacy students to think, feel, and act like an experienced pharmacist upon graduation. Currently, students are taught about professionalism, but a lack of identity can hinder the ability to advance pharmacy practice. People do not realize that what they need to focus on is professional identity to grow in practice, confidence, and leadership.
