Calvin Junior Metellus graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science, Biology. He is a current final-year pharmacy student at the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy & Physician Assistant Studies and his practice interests include Transplant and Infectious Disease. Pertinent research includes evaluating the effectiveness of high-dose vs. standard-dose hepatitis B vaccination in patients with liver cirrhosis, alongside Lena Rakouki, PharmD, BCPS. During pharmacy school, he served as Regent and Secretary for Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Vice President for Phi Lambda Sigma, and Secretary for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. His professional memberships included the National Community Pharmacists Association, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He was also awarded P1 and P2 Brother of the Year by Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, as well as P2 Student of the Year by the Student Government Association.
