Dr. Cheng Yu Yen is currently a PGY1 pharmacy resident at Texas Children's Hospital. She received her PharmD degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. Her current interests include infectious diseases, oncology, and critical care. Dr. Yen collaborated with her preceptors and colleagues on the research "Decreased Hospital Readmission After Programmatic Strengthening of an Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) Program" and "Clinical and metabolic implications of early corticosteroid withdrawal in pancreas and simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplant recipients: Long-term outcomes from a single center retrospective cohort." She is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
