Heather Wallhauser is in her fourth professional year of Butler University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program. Her goal is to become a clinically trained pharmacist specializing in either critical care or emergency medicine. To reach these goals, she has held various leadership roles, worked in a variety of different pharmacy settings, and participated in a multitude of different projects related to quality improvement, advancing the pharmacy profession, and representing Butler at a national level. She currently works at Community Health Network and has previous experience with community pharmacy, long-term care pharmacy, and patient assistance programs. Most notably, she has held the roles of President and Vice President of the Indiana Rural Health Association (IRHA) and Operation Diabetes Chair of Butler’s chapter of the American Pharmacists Association. Lastly, she completed a research fellowship within the IRHA and was presented with the Joseph E. McSoley Scholarship from the Indiana Pharmacists Association.
