MCPHS University, Boston, MA
Kirollos Wassef is a P3 Pharmacy student at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health sciences. Kirollos is currently interested in many pharmacy specialty areas including pediatrics, pharmacogenomics, cardiology, and informatics. Alongside the PharmD program, Kirollos is enrolled in the Precision medicine certificate program with Harvard Medical School and MCPHS University. The program entails multiple genomics, oncology, and pharmacogenomics courses that provide candidates with the knowledge needed for the future of healthcare. Kirollos also completed a research study analyzing the resources and costs needed for pharmacist-led transitions of care services to be added in larger medical centers. This research will expand on the need to employ pharmacists within more areas in health systems to better patient outcomes and decrease hospital readmissions. Kirollos is interested in using his earned analytical skills to apply in the 2024 cycle to a Pharmaceutical industry Fellowship position within the areas of Market/patient access, marketing, and Medical Affairs.
