Jafar Essayli, PharmD is a current PGY1 pharmacy resident at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of California, San Diego and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California. During his time in pharmacy school, he was a pharmacy intern in the inpatient and specialty outpatient pharmacies at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. As a fourth-year pharmacy school student, he completed his clinical rotations at Huntington Hospital, VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Kaiser Permanente Pasadena, USC School of Pharmacy, and St. John’s Community Health. His professional interests include general pediatrics and academia. He is currently an active member of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
