Nina Desai is a fourth-year pharmacy student at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and is expected to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in Microbiology and Cell Science. Nina has an interest in pharmacy informatics and clinical decision support development. Throughout pharmacy school, Nina has been involved in pharmacogenomics (PGx) informatics research projects, focusing on PGx best practice alerts and PGx consult notes. She is greatly involved in her school's pharmacy organizations, serving in several chair positions within the APhA and SSHP and for her accomplishments in APhA, she received the Chair of the Year Award. She also serves on the FSHP Infectious Disease and Educational Affairs committees. Nina serves the local community by regularly volunteering at the Equal Access Clinic, a not-for-profit health clinic run by UF health professional students.
