Juhi Saxena is a fourth-year pharmacy student at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She completed her undergraduate degree in neuroscience at George Mason University (GMU) in 2012. While at GMU, Juhi assisted Dr. Giorgio Ascoli on the Neuromorpho project at The Krasnow Institute of Advanced Study as lead research assistant for two gratifying years. From 2016 to 2018, Juhi attended Barry University and earned her Master of Biomedical Sciences, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After completing her Masters, Juhi went on to become adjunct anatomy and physiology professor at Chamberlin College of Nursing, research project associate at INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus in the obstetrics and gynecological department, and an anti-human trafficking advocate for Polaris.
Although Juhi is exploring her career options, she is confident in her desire to complete a PGY1 immediately after earning her Pharm.D. To accomplish this goal, she is an active member and former vice-president of the Student College of Clinical Pharmacy (SCCP) and Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP). Juhi was inducted into the Rho Chi Honor Society Gamma Theta chapter during P3 year and elected its vice-president. Additional leadership roles Juhi holds are Dean's Ambassador, Peer Mentor, and historian for the Class of 2023.
