Janaina Armand is a fourth year Pharm.D. candidate at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy located at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Janaina is currently a KNIGHT (Knowledge, Networking, Innovation Graduate Health-System Training) Scholar, which allows motivated Pharm.D. candidates to develop research, scholarship, service, and leadership. The program provides a diversified block of advanced pharmacy practice experiences in a single health-system. Janaina's practice interests involve ambulatory care, psychiatry, infectious diseases, and internal medicine. She is a student pharmacist at the Promise Clinic, which is an interdisciplinary student ran clinic developed by the Robert Wood Johnson Medical school for uninsured patients. Additionally, she was a Resident Assistant and long time member of the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA).
