Brenden O'Hara graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy, after graduation he began his career in Community Pharmacy working in various positions from Staff Pharmacist to District Pharmacy Manager. In 2009 he began his current focus on Managed Care at Physicians Pharmacy Alliance (as a Clinical Pharmacist and then Provider Relations Director.) From there he moved to a computer software company, Ateb, to develop programs for Community Pharmacies related to STARS, Medication Synchronization and the Appointment Based model. He began at Blue Cross NC in 2015 when he was Hired as a Clinical Review Pharmacist, and now leads a team working on Value Based Programs implementing pharmacy quality programs and cost of care initiatives. Brenden is active within the profession (North Carolina Association of Pharmacists, APhA, AMCP) and has held positions at the State and National level, he currently serves AMCP as the Diplomat for Campbell, the President of the AMCP Carolinas Affiliate Chapter, and a member of the Professional Practice Committee.
