Kellie J. Goodlet, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP graduated from the University of Arizona in 2015 and subsequently completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency at Hartford Hospital. She is currently an Associate Professor at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and maintains a practice site in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an active member of ASHP (2022-2023 Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists Educational Steering Committee Chair), the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (2021-2022 BCIDP Recertification Committee Chair), ACCP (2022-2023 Research Affairs Committee and Immunology/Transplantation PRN Programming Committee member), and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (panelist on upcoming Guidance on Infectious Complications Associated with Immunomodulatory Therapies). Dr. Goodlet’s research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and opportunistic infection prevention and management in solid organ transplantation. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in these areas, which have been published in notable infectious diseases and transplant journals including Clinical Infectious Diseases and the American Journal of Transplantation. Dr. Goodlet also has a strong interest in promoting research skills development among pharmacy trainees and serves as the longitudinal research preceptor at SJHMC, where she leads a Research Development Series designed to provide residents with practical and clinically relevant training on biostatistics, study design, and manuscript development.
