  • Describe the path of advocacy leading to the recent 2022 Fairness in Orphan Drug Exclusivity Act.
  • Discuss the advocacy efforts of pharmacy organizations, including ASHP, in supporting orphan drug development and specialty pharmacy initiatives.
  • Using a patient case study, evaluate how orphan drug development relates to specialty pharmacy today and in the future.
